The Friday Night League starts May 29 and runs till September 11. The start time is 5:00 pm.

This is a fun league where you can meet other members who you might not normally meet. Players of all levels are encouraged to join and enjoy themselves.

All members in good standing are invited to play any or all nights.

Nine holes are played.

The format is team best ball. Teams are chosen based on handicaps. A Captain is selected and all members of the team make their shots with the Captain selecting what he/she considers to be the best one. All Team members make the next shot until the hole is completed.

One drive must be used from each member of the team over the 9 holes.

The team with the lowest number of strokes at the conclusion of  9 holes is declared the winner.

The cost is $3.00 for the golf prizes and $0.50 for each of the 2 closest to the pin holes. These are the 2 par 3’s.

Money prizes are awarded for the top 3 places provided we have 4+ teams.

Money is also given to the winners of the closest to the pin.  If no one lands on the green then the money is held over till the next week for the hole that was not won.

Points are awarded for the top 5 teams.  The top 3 people at the end of the year get pro shop credit at the conclusion of the season. This amounts to 50% of the money collected over the year.

The balance of the money is used to pay for a banquet for all players on the last night. Your cost of this dinner is prorated to the number of times that you participate.

Guests are allowed to play after the appropriate money has been collected.

Ladies play from the red tees.

Men 50 and over with a handicap of 10 and above may play from White tees.  Men 75 and over can play from the Red Tees .  The rest play from the blue tees.

This league is for all men and is played every Tuesday at 7:30 am.  It is a shotgun start with foursomes being chosen on a weekly basis. 

A different game is played every week.  Players are asked to confirm their presence by Monday 5PM.

The cost is $40 for the season.  For visitors and vacationers the cost is $5 per week.

The Ladies League meets every Thursday at 8:00 am for an 8:30 am shotgun start. 

We have two seasonal games, which each have a $5.00 entry fee.  The Ringer Board keeps track of your best score on each hole on Ladies League days and awards are given for most improved total score; the Birdie Tree tracks each birdie earned on Ladies League days and awards are given to those with the most birdies.

In addition, each week we play a "game" for a $2.00 entry fee.  Past games have included:  Fewest putts, fewest shots to the green, straight golf, Stableford-like scoring, two or four member teams, drop your lowest three scores, scramble etc.  Most games use player handicaps so that winners are chosen based on "net"  score (actual score minus handicap).  All players are asked to record scores to maintain a handicap index.  Games rules are announced before the shotgun start.  Lastly, many of us contribute $ .25 each week for a "chip-in" competition.  This carry-over pot is paid out to anyone who chips into the hole from off the of the green. 

Many of us stay at the club and have lunch together.  Awards for the day's game and chip-ins are presented at the lunch.

All player abilities are welcome.  But, since we do strive to finish our game in regulation time, novice players may be asked to pick up their ball if they're having a really bad hole to keep up the pace.
